Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant – FEMA in our Government Services Practice. This role focuses on FEMA programs, compliance and financial management, supporting state and local recovery initiatives and ensuring audit readiness.

You will help expedite closeouts, manage time/cost tracking, and contribute to business development at conferences and proposals. Occasional travel to client sites may be required. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years FEMA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery administering FEMA funds.
• Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, regulations, policies and processes, and related compliance/financial management.
• Bachelor's degree in the specified field.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, including audit readiness and gaps.
• Assist in expediting closeout of multiple open disasters.
• Support client financial management and accounting, including time/cost tracking and reconciliation.
• Advise on method of program implementation.
• Ensure timely and accurate development of all client deliverables.
• Engage in business development through conferences, RFPs, funding opportunities and proposals.
• Occasionally work extended hours or travel to different offices/locations.
