Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant – FEMA in our Government Services Practice to support FEMA-funded initiatives and related compliance and financial management activities. The role emphasizes audit readiness, program implementation, and delivery of client deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in state/local disaster recovery programs, knowledge of FEMA regulations, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. Occasional travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds or equivalents.
• Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, regulations, and policies and related compliance/financial functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, including audit readiness and gaps.
• Assist in expediting closeout of complex disaster events.
• Support client financial management and cost tracking.
• Contribute to method selection for program implementation.
• Develop timely and accurate client deliverables.
• Engage in business development activities, including RFP responses and funding opportunity reviews.
• Occasionally work extended hours or travel to offices/locations.
