PRIMARY PURPOSE

Senior Fellows at CNA advise Research Division Vice Presidents, Research Team Leaders, and/or the President & CEO on issues related to their area of expertise. They review papers and research projects and conduct research as appropriate.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND/OR DUTIES
  1. Provides input and advice to CNA leadership staff.
  2. Reviews papers, briefings, and project approaches that are technical or operational in nature.
  3. Identifies project opportunities and executes them as appropriate.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience: Fifteen years of operational and/or policy experience directly related to the area of expertise is required.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated expertise in dealing with analytical aspects of the expertise area; ability to identify issues and contribute in unstructured environments; ability to interact effectively with research staff, management, and sponsors.

CNA follows a broad band compensation framework considering skill sets, experience, degree, certifications, and organizational needs. The current estimated pay range is $82/hr. – $110.72/hr.
