Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a senior Feed Ingredient Buyer to lead sourcing, procurement, and supply strategies for bulk feed ingredients such as corn and soybean meal across multiple mill locations. You will independently manage complex sourcing decisions, negotiate with producers and brokers, and balance cost with risk to ensure reliable ingredient supply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for corn, soybean meal, and bulk feed ingredients.
• Lead complex supplier and commodity negotiations with producers, brokers, and suppliers.
• Manage inbound supply and logistics across rail, barge, and truck to ensure supply continuity.
• Evaluate supplier performance and resolve cost, quality, and delivery discrepancies.
