Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define secure, scalable cloud architectures for financial platforms operating in a FedRAMP High government cloud. You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms and deliver secure cloud-native solutions.

Role emphasizes governance, API/microservice patterns, data management, and zero-trust/security controls, with a remote-friendly setup for qualified US applicants.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53 controls.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices.
• Strong security, IAM, encryption and auditing practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive secure, scalable, compliant architectures for priority platforms.
• Collaborate with security, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Lead architecture modernization and production support guidance.
• Review designs for scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness.
• Ensure alignment with FedRAMP High, Zero Trust, and audit requirements.
