Job summary

Commonwealth Strategic Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Workforce & Human Capital Consultant to support federal agencies in workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and modernization initiatives.

You will partner with senior government stakeholders to assess needs and implement data-driven strategies aligning talent, structure, and resources with mission objectives. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in a dynamic federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience in workforce planning, workforce analytics, organizational design, or workforce transformation.
• Experience with workforce assessments, skills mapping, workload analyses, staffing studies, and organizational evaluations.
• Knowledge of federal workforce management practices and human capital frameworks.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to brief executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and human capital support activities, using best practices to assess needs and support decision-making.
• Maintain and analyze rosters, dashboards, and reporting tools for visibility into capacity and readiness.
• Conduct workforce analyses, including skills inventories and surge planning to identify gaps and risks.
• Support organizational design and workforce transformation, including operating model development.
• Coordinate data calls, reporting, and stakeholder engagements with accurate data.
