Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects for federal agencies nationwide in the United States. You will manage multidisciplinary teams spanning planning, design, and construction support, ensuring successful delivery from inception to closeout.

You will build and maintain relationships with federal and military clients, support business development, and ensure QA/QC.

Qualifications

Requires PE license or license recognized by the licensing board for the position location (e.g., PE)
10 years of related experience
Minimum 5 years of project management experience
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access is a plus)
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and oversee all phases of complex, multidisciplinary projects from planning and design through construction support and closeout.
Manage multiple concurrent projects with alignment to client objectives, budget, and schedules.
Build and maintain relationships with federal and military clients as trusted advisor and main point of contact.
Support business development activities including marketing, proposals, contracts, and pursuits.
Facilitate planning, design development, and contract document reviews with clients and staff.
Coordinate resources across disciplines to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor performance with HDR leadership to drive outcomes and QA/QC procedures.
