Job summary

Maximus is seeking a strategic Subcontracts leader to manage a team of subcontract specialists across proposals and operations programs. You will oversee the full lifecycle of subcontract awards, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and drive strategic sourcing across portfolios.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong negotiation and leadership, and proficiency with iCertis, Coupa, CostPoint, and related systems in a matrixed government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of subcontract awards and administration
• Experience with FAR/DFARS compliance, NDA and TA best practices
• Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization with government contracts

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance: teaming, proposal strategy, solicitation, negotiation, award, and closeout.
• Develop and drive subcontracting strategies across portfolios to enhance business outcomes.
• Advise project teams on subcontract administration, processes, and federal engagements.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies; maintain subcontract files and data in internal systems.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Lead use of iCertis CLM for subcontract awards and utilize Coupa, CostPoint and other enterprise tools.
