Job summary

Arc Aspicio, a leading consulting and solutions firm, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to support large Federal IT programs focused on homeland security and emergency management systems. You will design and oversee cloud-based solutions, working with senior government clients and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical results.

The role requires 7–8 years of architecting complex IT projects, strong AWS and cloud experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of experience on complex IT projects using Agile or similar lifecycle in Federal environments
• 4 years of cloud-based technology experience (e.g., AWS)
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and enhance designs
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing modernized software applications
• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java, WSDL, DNS, SOAP, REST, XML, CMKs, TLS
• Strong client/stakeholder engagement with senior leaders
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain level of trust/federal clearance
• Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work remotely and in-person in the DC area
• Executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the Government chief architect on cloud solutions and large IT programs
• Develop innovative solutions across a range of technologies for government needs
• Assess current programs and plan for AI and smart technology integrations
• Develop AI solutions to support mission initiatives
• Collaborate with development teams and clients to design legacy modernization
• Perform code reviews and document areas for improvement
• Provide quality assurance and oversight for projects
• Engage with experts to align business and technical requirements
• Support engineering and other initiatives as needed
• Deliver outstanding client service and drive mission results
• Contribute to business development and firm growth
