Job summary

Arc Aspicio seeks an IT Solutions Architect to support large Federal IT programs, focusing on homeland security and emergency management systems. The role requires 7-8 years architecting complex solutions, including cloud technologies, and direct interaction with senior government clients.

Hybrid work includes client sites, the DC office, and occasional remote work. Candidates must reside in the Washington, DC area and hold or be able to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of relevant experience on complex IT projects using an Agile or similar software engineering lifecycle and federal government environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the Government chief architect, applying expertise in cloud solutions and large, complex IT delivery.
• Develop innovative solutions across technologies to meet future government business needs.
• Assess current programs and plan for systems modernization leveraging AI and smart technology.
• Develop AI solutions to advance government mission initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams and clients to define technical requirements for legacy modernization.
• Perform code reviews of legacy applications to identify improvements.
• Provide QA and oversight across projects.
• Consult with experts to align business requirements with technical solutions.
• Assist engineering teams on additional projects as needed.
• Partner with clients to deliver outstanding service and mission results.
• Apply consulting, business analysis, and communication skills to identify problems and propose solutions.
