Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) Security Services Office seeks a highly experienced Security Specialist to protect personnel, facilities, materials, and information in a DoD/IC-focused research environment. This on-site role supports Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, PerSec, COMSEC, and OPSEC, with emphasis on security inspections and fast-paced operations.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Security or related field and have 6+ years of relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience handling classified materials and government security policies.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and oversee advanced security programs including Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, PerSec, COMSEC and OPSEC.
• Assist in development and management of advanced industrial security practices, procedures, trainings, and briefings.
• Provide security support and customer service in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Work autonomously in a busy service-driven setting.
• Handle intake of complex collateral security matters and advise on processes.
• Prepare for and represent ARL in security inspections and oversight by USG agencies.
