QinetiQ US seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to lead federal proposals and international efforts, from pre-RFP to post-RFP stages. You will mentor teams, align with capture and solution architecture, and ensure compliant, compelling proposals.

The role emphasizes strong writing, editing, and advanced MS Word/desktop publishing skills, plus the ability to manage large, complex bids in fast-paced environments. Located in the U.S. Virginia area; remote work not indicated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in federal proposals including orals.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience writing proposals for professional services and technology-centric solutions.
• Experience managing GWAC and IDIQ proposals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal procurement processes.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Expert-level MS Word proficiency; desktop publishing skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop proposal processes, templates, and procedures from pre-RFP through post-RFP phases.
• Mentor proposal team members, train staff on best practices, and provide leadership as the company expands its domestic and international footprint.
• Engage with Capture Managers, Delivery SMEs, and Solution Architects to craft proposal strategy and develop messaging.
• Drive the proposal process to meet milestones per corporate processes and support writing and editing.
• Set schedules, create outlines, build compliance matrices, lead proposal kickoffs, guide content creators.
• Interpret technical and management requirements of U.S. Federal Government and international solicitations, recommend response strategies, ensure compliance.
• Manage multiple large and complex proposals for U.S. government agencies and international partners.
• Update, refine, and enhance the Proposal SOPs to reflect best practices and global compliance.
• Manage a SharePoint-based proposal management system and maintain a repository of templates and examples.
