Job summary

LMI seeks a Senior Project Risk Manager to support a federal program management office in the Washington Metropolitan Area. You will provide overall direction on risk management across portfolios, programs, and projects, compiling risks and mitigation strategies for an enterprise view of risk.

Travel may be required once or twice a month to stations on the southwest and other borders. Final compensation will reflect education, experience, and certifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, CS, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Structure a process to manage program and project risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies for identified risk exposures and maintain risk analysis documentation.
• Foster risk awareness through stakeholder discussions and training.
• Create risk management plans aligned with DHS/CBP processes and frameworks.
• Define and execute continuous improvement for risk management across hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Maintain risk data in client provided tools and prepare briefings/reports.
