Job summary

LMI Government Consulting in the US DC area seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead RAPTR deployment and evolution for a DHS customer. You’ll bridge hands-on engineering with government leadership, mitigate risk, and ensure capabilities support mission outcomes.

The role requires deep cloud platform expertise, federal compliance, and M&S systems, coordinating complex development with senior stakeholders and end-to-end lifecycle ownership.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain CBP background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Development or related field; M&S experience or equivalent.
• 7+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud deployments including security, cyber, and data infrastructure.
• Experience implementing or managing M&S platforms in enterprise or federal mission environments.
• Experience interfacing between hands-on technical teams and senior stakeholders, creating delivery roadmaps from scratch.
• Strong familiarity with federal standards for digital, cloud, cyber, and data systems.
• Experience working directly with federal stakeholders and partner contractors.
• Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for RAPTR’s deployment, coordinating development efforts to align with customer requirements and mission priorities.
• Translate mission needs into RAPTR architectures, workflows, and M&S solutions that integrate with cloud environments
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align leaders behind efficient solution approaches
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate capabilities into existing cloud, data, and enterprise IT environments
• Develop and maintain technical documentation: system architectures, model interaction diagrams, and workflow specs
• Provide technical guidance to personnel and partner contractors
• Ensure cybersecurity, data governance, and risk management compliance
• Provide clear status updates to senior leaders and management
• Manage program deliverables, financials, schedules, and team performance across the lifecycle
