Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a high-priority Federal Client. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across a complex program, interfacing between Dewberry, government stakeholders, contractor personnel, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing large federal programs, translating strategy into execution, and leading multidisciplinary teams in a classified environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph at hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• PMP, CCM, PE, RA or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years with admin, operations, program or project management principles.
• 5+ years of leadership or program management experience, preferably federal.
• Experience with national security, intelligence, law enforcement, or defense programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Experience with program financial management (budgeting, forecasting, invoicing).
• Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools; strong communication skills.
• Ability to present complex analyses to executives.
• Experience with staff augmentation or professional services contracts.
• Experience in AEC or federal capital programs, including classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of contractor personnel for the Federal Client.
• Manage client expectations and nurture a strong client relationship.
• Ensure operational coverage across mission-critical functions aligned to priorities.
• Serve as primary interface with government leadership, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts to define, develop and deliver program deliverables.
• Review reports and program products for accuracy and compliance.
• Access government databases to identify, analyze and format information per specs.
• Lead preparation and delivery of technical documents, summaries, reports andBriefings.
• Monitor performance, schedules, staffing, deliverables and contractual commitments.
• Manage financial performance including invoicing, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with requirements.
• Apply analytical thinking to evaluate problems, risks and solutions.
• Establish effective communication among government, contractors and teams.
• Maintain compliance with federal requirements, security protocols and policies.
• Work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
