Job summary

Avum Inc. in Malibu, CA, seeks an experienced program manager to support execution and delivery on the company's largest contracts. You will assist leadership in managing day-to-day operations, risk, client relationships, and strategic roadmap execution.

The role emphasizes risk management, liaison with government clients, and driving the program roadmap through cross-functional teams. Active Secret clearance and DoD contract experience are preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of program/project management experience in federal IT.
• PMP certification.
• Active Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with DoD contract management and CPARS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and workstream coordination to support program execution and delivery.
• Manage risk and issue identification, documentation, and mitigation tracking.
• Serve as liaison between government clients and internal delivery teams.
• Drive advancement of program roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate subcontractor performance and deliverable tracking.
• Prepare program status reports, metrics, and executive briefings.
• Ensure compliance with contract deliverables, CDRL schedules, and quality standards.
