Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in the United States seeks a Legal Counsel for Federal & Procurement to lead legal support for U.S. federal government contracts and procurement.

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements (OTAs, licensing, NDAs), advise on risks, and coordinate with contract managers to ensure compliance with FARs and federal regulations. Travel occasionally; 8–10 years of federal procurement experience and a J.D.

Qualifications

• U.S. law degree (J.D.) required with 8–10 years of federal government procurement experience.
• Experience with DoD and/or VA contracts preferred.
• Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage complex federal contracts.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct the formation, negotiation and administration of federal contracts/subcontracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse agreements including OTAs, licensing, NDAs and teaming agreements.
• Advise federal contracting professionals on risks, disputes and compliance with FARs.
• Develop contract policies and training on ethics, cybersecurity and regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to optimize processes and contract documentation.
