Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Acquisition Consultant in Washington, DC. You will act as a strategic advisor, lead a cross-functional team, and manage the full federal IT acquisition lifecycle from requirements gathering to post‑award management.

You will ensure compliance with FAR, DOS policies, and small business requirements while coordinating with CORs and senior stakeholders to advance mission objectives.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting multi-disciplinary teams or in management consulting.
• Must be able to work onsite in Washington, DC 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor and team lead within the IT Acquisitions Office for federal IT enterprise agreements.
• Oversee acquisition lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-award management.
• Lead a cross-functional team to develop acquisition packages and ensure compliance with FAR, DOS policy, and internal standards.
• Coordinate with CORs, CIO offices, Legal, OSDBU, Finance, and customer bureaus to align requirements and streamline procurement.
