Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead an engineering team in Northern California, delivering a high-profile civil infrastructure program for federal clients. You will oversee engineering, architecture, and specialist consultants across planning, design, and construction, balancing risk, cost, and schedule while aligning with program requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, client interface, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical/Coastal Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of infrastructure design and implementation experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in California.

Responsibilities

• Functioning as a project manager as part of a delivery team on select federal, state, and/or municipal contracts.
• Ensuring technical leadership and quality control for diverse, multidisciplinary delivery teams through all project phases (planning, design, construction).
• Primary interface between client staff and consultant team; regular engagement and knowledge sharing.
• Establishing and meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives; resource allocation and monitoring.
• Managing existing and expanding client base by delivering quality work and proactive communication.
• Mentoring junior-level technical staff.
