Job summary

Mind Computing, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect (Federal Health) to support federal growth, capture, and solution development with a primary focus on the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The candidate will translate complex federal requirements into scalable architectures across healthcare IT, cloud, data, interoperability, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and AI. The role requires strong technical leadership, proposal-writing prowess, and the ability to collaborate with Growth,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years in enterprise IT, software engineering, or architecture.
• 5+ years in Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architecture or leadership roles.
• Experience with VA/federal healthcare programs.
• Experience architecting complex enterprise or healthcare systems.
• Experience estimating staffing and timelines.
• Experience with federal capture, reviews, or oral proposals.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and responsible AI.
• Familiarity with cloud, security, integration, interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposal-ready technical narratives for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other federal pursuits.
• Review and ensure compliant, feasible, differentiated solutions.
• Partner with Growth, Capture, Proposal, Delivery, Engineering, Pricing, and Executives to craft solutions.
• Lead technical solutioning sessions, color teams, and customer discussions.
• Analyze solicitations and requirements to identify objectives and risks.
• Design enterprise architectures spanning cloud, data, APIs, and healthcare interoperability.
• Translate requirements into technical approaches, roadmaps, and staffing models.
• Provide guidance on AI/Generative AI for federal healthcare solutions.
• Leverage AI tools while validating outputs for accuracy and security.
