Job summary
Elite Recruiting & Consulting Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction for federal construction projects in Perry, GA. The role drives accurate cost estimates, proposal support, subcontractor procurement, and risk evaluation from pursuit through award.
The ideal candidate has extensive federal estimating experience across Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, MATOC/IDIQ, and negotiated procurements, and will mentor junior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 10+ years of construction estimating experience.
- 5+ years estimating federal construction projets.
- Experience with designs and documents such as plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Review drawings, specs, geotechnical reports, and solicitation requirements.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies while preserving profitability.
- Maintain historical cost databases and benchmarks.
- Present estimate reviews to executive leadership prior to submission.
