Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of commercial estimating experience, strong reading of drawings and specs, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and PlanSwift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Experience estimating projects from $1 million to $20 million+.
• Proficiency with estimating software and reading drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, GMP, and final construction estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Review drawings and documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
• Lead preconstruction activities from pursuit through turnover to operations.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier bidding efforts and VE analyses.
