Job summary

Elite Recruiting seeks a Senior Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction for commercial projects in Perry, GA. You will develop accurate cost estimates and manage bid packages.

You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate subcontractor procurement to deliver competitive proposals.

Strong communication and collaboration with owners, architects, engineers, and operations are essential to win projects and ensure smooth turnover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Experience estimating projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million+.
• Proficiency with estimating software and ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, GMP, and final construction estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Review drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and project documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability goals.
• Lead preconstruction activities from project pursuit through turnover to operations.
• Coordinate subcontractor bidding efforts and value engineering analyses.
• Conduct subcontractor bid leveling, scope reviews, and constructability reviews.
• Support project teams with change order pricing and cost analysis.
