Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Energy Program Manager to lead energy management, auditing, and mechanical systems assessment for federal clients. You will oversee programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage client communications to ensure delivery of high-quality technical products aligned with federal mandates.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in energy or facilities programs, with DoD/War experience preferred, and a track record delivering ASHRAE Level II

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of energy or facilities program experience.
• Experience delivering ASHRAE Level II energy audits and reporting.
• Mechanical system assessments for federal or large facilities.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
• Familiarity with federal energy mandates and reporting requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team leadership.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver energy management, auditing, and MSR support for federal clients.
• Oversee energy programs, coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage client communications and ensure high-quality technical products.
• Drive ASHRAE Level II audits and energy measure development.
• Support training, dashboards, and executive-level reports.
