Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Senior Energy Program Manager to lead energy management, auditing, and mechanical systems assessment support for federal clients in the Washington DC area. The role oversees multidisciplinary teams, manages client communications, and delivers technical products that meet federal energy mandates and priorities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in energy or facilities programs, with DoD or DoW experience preferred, and a track record of ASHRAE Level II audits

Qualifications

• 8+ years of energy, facilities, or engineering program experience.
• Experience delivering ASHRAE Level II energy audits with utility analysis and reporting.
• Experience performing mechanical system assessments for federal/large facilities (HVAC, central plants, building controls).
• Strong program management including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client communications.
