Job summary

Far West Federal Holding, LLC is seeking a Program Manager - Senior Contract Specialist to provide program management and federal contracting support for DOE/NNSA. You will oversee contractor activities, interface with CO/COR, monitor performance, and support cradle-to-grave procurement and closeout tasks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of specialized federal contracting experience, and FAC-C/DAWIA Level II certification, with Level III preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of specialized federal contracting experience.
• Recent federal contracting experience must include contract specialist duties within the last 2 years.
• FAC-C/DAWIA Level II certification; Level III preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Program Management experience.
• Ability to comply with DOE/NNSA security, nondisclosure, info-protection and facility-access requirements.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, complex federal environment and deliver timely work products.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management and oversight for all contractor and subcontractor activities under the task order.
• Interface with Government CO and COR for performance, staffing, and day-to-day matters.
• Monitor workforce productivity, quality, staffing continuity, and contract performance.
• Provide acquisition support from pre-solicitation through closeout activities.
• Support market research, source selection, proposal evaluation, and cost/price analysis.
• Assist with contract closeout, including reconciliation of audits and de-obligations.
• Prepare status reports, identify risks, and inform Government stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DEAR, agency policies and guidance.
