Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Contract Manager 4 to lead end-to-end contract development, negotiation, administration and compliance for federal and commercial work.

You will interact with customers and senior management, lead proposals, and coordinate with stakeholders. Your experience should include 7+ years in federal contracting or contracts administration, knowledge of FAR, agency supplements, and Cost Accounting Standards; and experience preparing cost and technical/business proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or a Related Discipline; Bachelors' Degree and 7+ Years of Relevant Experience OR Masters' Degree and 5+ Years of Relevant Experience.
• Requires understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, agency supplemental regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards.
• 7+ years Federal Contracting or contracts administration.
• Experience in preparing cost and technical/business management proposals.
• Familiarity/experience in construction and/or systems installation services contracts.
• Experience in government solicitations and background managing contracts.
• Understanding of labor requirements associated with federal contracts e.g.: SCA, Davis-Bacon Act, and associated requirements.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end contract development, negotiation, administration, and compliance.
• Interact directly with customers and senior management; lead major efforts such as proposals from a contract's perspective.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders with closeout processes to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Leading pursuits from a contracts' perspective including interpretation of solicitation, regulations, and customer policies.
