The role serves as a senior technical resource, mentoring junior staff, conducting peer reviews, and sharing lessons learned while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, Navy requirements, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum 8 years of government contracting experience, including IDIQ and TO/DOs.
• Active security clearance required.
• Experience with automated acquisition systems and e-procurement.

Responsibilities

• Cradle-to-grave acquisition support for complex needs and contracts.
• Lead acquisition strategy development and source selection activities.
• Develop and review RFQs, RFPs, and related acquisition documents.
• Coordinate with contracting officers and stakeholders on negotiations and awards.
• Monitor post-award performance and contract closeout.
• Provide mentoring and training to Contract Specialists.
