Job summary

OCT Consulting LLC in the Washington, DC area seeks a Contract Specialist II to support federal acquisition programs. The role requires at least six years of full‑spectrum contract experience, FAR knowledge, and US citizenship with eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

You will draft pre‑award documents (SOWs, SOOs, PWSs), assist with IGCEs, market research, RFIs/IFBs/RFPs, and post‑award administration in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-spectrum federal contract experience.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in related fields.
• FAC-C or DAWIA eligible or equivalent contracting certification.
• Knowledge of FAR and federal contracting procedures.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor for acquisition life cycle activities.
• Prepare pre-award documents: SOWs, SOOs, and PWSs.
• Develop IGCEs and support market research and source selection.
• Prepare IFBs, RFQs, and RFPs; draft terms and conditions.
• Assist in post-award administration and contract file maintenance.
