You will apply expert knowledge of acquisition, price analysis, and federal contracting to drive procurement strategy and ensure compliant, cost-effective contracting actions. The role requires deep experience with FAR/DFARS, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to advise cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization.
• Minimum 10 years of direct Federal procurement experience comprised of: 5 years as a Federal govt employee in GS-1102 series as a contracting officer, contract specialist, or procurement analyst; 5 more years in direct support of Federal procurements.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional knowledge of all phases of acquisition and procurement management.
• Knowledge of price and cost analysis to determine price reasonableness or negotiation position.
• Ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems and provide expert guidance.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and DoD contracting principles.
• Provide expert technical advice and coordination to implement guidelines and developments.
• Excellent written and oral communications; proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
