Job summary

BSNC in Hanover, MD is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead QC on multiple federal projects, including occupied renovations and secure facilities, ensuring compliance with UFC and contract documents.

You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and government representatives, perform daily QC inspections, prepare reports, and drive safety and quality across the field team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 10+ years as a Construction Quality Control Manager on commercial or federal projects.
• Experience managing QC on federal projects for USACE, DoD, NAVFAC, GSA, or similar agencies.
• Valid USACE/NAVFAC QCM Certification; ability to obtain access to federal/military installations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with project plans, UFC requirements, and contract documents.
• Lead QC meetings and maintain submittal registers; coordinate with project leads and government representatives.
• Monitor QC progress, coordinate 3rd-Party testing and inspections, and lead project commissioning.
• Lead safety leadership efforts; promote a proactive safety culture on every project.
• Coordinate with Owners, COs, CORs, QA personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders to communicate progress and issues.
• This role has supervisory responsibilities and requires strong leadership of field teams.
