Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Representative for Ft.

Buchanan, Puerto Rico, to oversee field construction activities, ensure compliance with plans, and deliver detailed site reports for government personnel. The role requires a US citizenship, ability to pass federal background checks and drug screen, and a minimum of seven years in construction contract administration and inspection on large federal projects; RMS 3.0 and OSHA/EM 385-1-1

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; degree preferred.
• 7+ years in construction contract administration and inspection on large federal projects.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 is preferred.
• Experience with three-phase inspection process and relevant codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs to government personnel.
• Supports investigation and preparation of change orders.
• Develops detailed inspection requirements and control methods.
• Observes construction phases for compliance with schedules, specs, and shop drawings; identifies problems and proposes changes.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress, safety, and manpower notes.
• Assists in all phases of the contract modification process.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules, safety and quality programs.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
