Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support legal and compliance operations by providing practical, risk-based guidance across internal teams and client-facing work. You will interpret policy, assess risks, and help teams apply federal regulatory requirements to daily operations, advising business leaders and employees on Ethics & Compliance issues.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor Degree is required.
Active state bar membership and VA in-house counsel eligibility required.
Subject matter expert in corporate Ethics & Compliance.
Familiar with work of Compliance, Regulatory & Ethics (CoRE) teams.
Able to prioritize, manage tasks and contribute to risk decisions.
Ability to counsel employees across all levels, up to Managing Directors.

Responsibilities

Provide practical, risk-based compliance guidance to internal teams and client-facing work.
Partner with Legal, CoRE, and cross-functional teams to address compliance questions and support enterprise-wide programs.
Engage with employees across the organization, contribute to mitigation strategies, and support training efforts.
Grow independence in handling substantive matters and shaping compliance guidance.
