Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Government Compliance Counsel in Virginia to promote and manage compliance with public procurement laws, regulations, and company policies, protecting Accenture’s assets and reputation.

You will support the Government Compliance program, provide risk assessments, and collaborate with Legal, CORE, Global Contracting, and outside counsel to address government- related compliance issues.

Qualifications

JD or equivalent law degree required.
Minimum of 5 years as a Compliance Attorney with expertise in public procurement rules and US Government Compliance obligations.
Experience with a law firm or global corporation preferred.
Familiarity with the EU public tender laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

Supports the implementation and execution of Accenture’s Government Compliance program initiatives, including development and delivery of Government Compliance training.
Development, review and implementation of Government Compliance policies and internal controls.
Planning and drafting Government Compliance communications with internal stakeholders.
Risk assessments with senior management and outside counsel; recommend improvements to the program.
