Job summary

Garver’s Federal team seeks a Project Engineer to lead civil design for federal projects—roads, trails, site development, grading, stormwater, utilities, pavements, and master planning for Air Force, Navy, National Guard, and USACE programs.

You’ll collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment, produce drawings, specs, cost estimates, and technical narratives, and may perform on-site construction observation and submittal reviews using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other civil design tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering bachelor’s degree.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 7+ years of civil design experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Some travel may be required with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform design for federal projects (roads, trails, site development, grading, stormwater, utilities, pavements, master planning).
• Produce full design phase deliverables: drawings, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, narratives.
