Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior budget analyst in McLean, VA to execute federal budget activities, reconcile plans with actuals, and prepare data for briefings. You will manage multiple spend plans, track commitments, and support dashboard development in PowerBI. A Bachelor's degree and seven+ years in federal budgeting are required; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and clear communication are essential. DoD/public trust eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in the federal budget process and related lifecycle.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform budget execution activities and prepare data for presentations.
• Manage multiple Spend Plans and reconcile reports with spend plans; identify inconsistencies.
• Track commitments and expenditures using FFMS and other systems.
• Support building and maintaining budget dashboards in PowerBI.
