Job summary

PBG is seeking a budget professional to support federal budget formulation, execution, and analysis. The role emphasizes developing executive briefings, dashboards in Power BI, and reports using SharePoint and Excel.

Primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings at the client site in Washington or PBG offices in McLean, VA. Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain and maintain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in budget formulation, analysis, and evaluation of execution.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Experience in tracking budget and activities for a product/project portfolio.
• Experience with PPBE budget cycle activities, CBJB and IPBS.
• Using complex financial management systems or other non-DOD federal systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support related to budget formulation justification and execution.
• Develop executive briefings using Excel and Power BI dashboards.
• Develop reports using SharePoint, Excel, and Power BI.
• Budget execution reports and analysis on issues and trends.
• Translate technical data into actionable reporting for senior readers.
• Assist the financial management team in budget formulation, planning, and execution.
