Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Contract Specialist to support Federal Bureau of Prisons acquisitions. The role requires deep knowledge of federal contracting, FAR compliance, and market research, with experience handling solicitations, awards, and contract modifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with program offices and SMEs, preparing acquisition documents, and supporting negotiations. A strong background in government contracting and UFMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 8–10 years of contracting experience serving Federal clients.
• Strong understanding of the FAR and procurement processes.
• Experience with contracting writing systems and market research.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal oversight on acquisition actions.
• Provide advice on acquisition plans, strategies, risks and contracting methods.
• Research market vehicles, potential sources, and government contracts.
• Prepare and support award documents, modifications, and memoranda.
• Coordinate with program offices, SMEs, CORs and other contracting staff.
