Job summary

Goldbelt Inc. seeks a Contract Specialist to provide acquisition support services for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The role involves working with government stakeholders, preparing market research, cost estimates, and solicitation documents, and supporting negotiations and award processes. The ideal candidate has eight to ten years of federal contracting experience, strong knowledge of FAR, and excellent writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, contracts or related field.
• 8–10 years of contracting experience serving Federal clients.
• Experience in all aspects of Federal Government acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisition plans, strategies, and contracting methods.
• Research and compare sources, markets, and contract vehicles.
• Prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates and market research reports.
• Coordinate with program office personnel and CORs during acquisition phases.
• Assist in the creation of solicitations, awards, and contract amendments.
• Support negotiations with documentation of objectives and outcomes.
• Provide administrative support to acquisition functions and data calls.
