Job summary

OCT Consulting LLC is seeking a Procurement Analyst (0041) to support federal government clients with contract policy review and acquisition strategy.

The role requires at least six years of federal contracting experience, a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of FAR procedures; eligibility for a Public Trust clearance is required. You will advise on policy, train staff, and help ensure regulatory compliance across acquisitions.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of full-spectrum federal contract experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience with acquisition policy review and development.
• Acquisition certification is highly preferred (FAC-C, DAWIA, NCMA certifications considered).
• Familiarity with the FAR, contracting procedures, and procurement processes.
• Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance; the security screening may involve credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement checks.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Review Acquisition policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the research, development and upkeep of local Client regulations, provisions and clauses, Acquisitions Manual, Client Procurement Guidance Documents, and other Federal guidance.
• Serve as an expert for interpreting acquisition policies and procedures and offer sound, researched advice to address issues.
• Assist in developing and training Acquisitions Staff and stakeholders on regulations, processes and procedures.
• Operate with general administrative supervision and present findings to executive personnel.
