Job summary
Ramp is seeking its first dedicated Financial Crimes Compliance Controls Senior Strategist to build and own the framework that proves FCC controls work as intended. You will lead testing, documentation, and improvements of manual and automated controls, including AI-enabled workflows, in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data teams. This role requires seniority in financial-crimes compliance and strong communication with regulators and partners.
Qualifications
Deep knowledge of financial-crimes typologies and risk evolution.
Experience presenting testing results to regulators, examiners, or auditors.
Proven ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
Experience developing or evaluating automated controls and AI-enabled workflows.
ACAMS certification or equivalent in financial-crimes.
Responsibilities
Own FCC controls-effectiveness across manual procedures and automation.
Define standards for testing, evidence retention, and remediation tracking.
Partner with PEDD initiatives to embed FCC requirements into product planning.
Translate financial-crimes requirements into scalable workflows and controls.
Lead AI and automation strategy within a compliance framework.
Review control performance and identify gaps with technical teams.
