Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a professional engineer to lead the Fly-By-Wire and Secondary Flight Control System work on Challenger/Global Express programs. You will integrate the FBW system, define and verify requirements, and coordinate with suppliers to support certification activities.

With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 5+ years in aerospace, you’ll review test procedures, perform analyses, and ensure conformance to ARP4754.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace experience.
• Involvement in definition/certification of FBW/Secondary Flight Control systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate FBW and Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft.
• Support concept development and philosophy with Flight Control supplier.
• Develop, validate and verify technical requirements for the Flight Control System.
• Review/test procedures and execute tests for certification activities.
• Troubleshoot in-service aircraft issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ARP4754 development process.
• Travel to supplier facilities and on-site support to assembly lines as needed.
