Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an FBAR Filter Designer in San Jose, CA to lead end-to-end development of high-performance RF front-end filters for 5G and Wi‑Fi. You will own the design lifecycle from acoustic resonator synthesis to module integration, collaborating across design, process, test and packaging teams.

You will design high-Q FBAR filters, manage die/layout, perform 3D EM simulations, and drive verification for high-volume production with emphasis on signal integrity and parasitic minimization.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with related RF/Microwave experience and proven tape-out history.
• Deep knowledge of FBAR/BAW/SAW or RFFE module integration.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead design & synthesis of high-Q FBAR filters and multiplexers.
• Own die layout and package integration for parasitics control.
• Coordinate module co-design between acoustic die, laminate and PCB.
• Lead 3D EM simulations for package-level parasitics and coupling.
• Perform Monte Carlo and corner analyses for process robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulations with lab data.
