Job summary

Loman-Ray Insurance Group, LLC is seeking a Lead Farm Insurance Customer Service Representative to act as the trusted advisor and primary service contact for farm clients. You will leverage your insurance expertise to support farm accounts, deliver exceptional service, and manage renewals and new business opportunities within the team.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Property & Casualty professional with strong understanding of farm operations, underwriting practices, and coverage solutions.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Property & Casualty license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of farm insurance, or related insurance customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of farm insurance policies, coverages, underwriting principles, rating, claims handling, and billing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned farm accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and agency partners.
• Manage policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and related service requests.
• Identify opportunities to round accounts and recommend additional coverage solutions.
• Assist clients with premium financing, billing questions, and collection processes.
• Meet with clients in the office or onsite when necessary to support their insurance needs.
• Coordinate claim documentation and ensure claims are closed appropriately.
• Lead two Farm Underwriters and support training across departments.
• Promote best practices in customer service, underwriting, and agency procedures.
