Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Tech.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to teach and share knowledge with others.
• Able and willing to work in a team setting.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify mechanical defects on farm equipment.
• Navigate databases to retrieve manuals, schematics, and procedures for repairs.
• Repair/replace components of diesel engine systems and related subsystems.
• Perform mid-level and advanced repairs to restore equipment to full operation.
• Document repairs, maintenance, and parts used per company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with Service Manager and Parts department about parts and timelines.
