Job summary

Agri-power Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair farm equipment. The role requires mid-to-advanced technical knowledge and a commitment to customer satisfaction, safety, and quality.

You will perform repairs, maintenance, and documentation while collaborating with the Service Manager and Parts department to source the right components. Compensation is hourly, based on experience, with quarterly incentives tied to job performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technician.
• Heavy Equipment or Diesel Tech degree preferred, but not required.
• Agriculture experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify mechanical defects on farm equipment.
• Navigate manuals, schematics and procedures to determine repairs.
• Repair and replace components of diesel engine systems and hydraulics.
• Perform mid-level and advanced repairs for full operation.
• Carry out periodic maintenance and replace fluids as needed.
• Keep customers updated on prices, repairs and timeframes.
• Operate power tools, welders, forklifts, cranes and related equipment safely.
• Document repairs and parts used per company standards.
