Job summary
Kids is seeking a Family Intervention Senior Practitioner to join the Suffolk & North-East Essex Neurodiversity Support Service. You will manage your own caseload and deliver tailored, strengths-based support to autistic and ADHD children aged 5–18 and their families, empowering them to feel informed and confident.
You will work closely with parents, carers and professionals across health, education, social care and community services, while supervising colleagues and contributing to service
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children and young people with autism/ADHD or neurodevelopmental differences.
- Ability to assess needs, develop support plans and manage risk.
- Experience working with parents and carers and building positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming support to autistic/ADHD children 5–18.
- Assess needs and develop individual support plans and reviews.
- Deliver one-to-one and group programmes for children, families and professionals.
- Support emotional wellbeing, anxiety, regulation, sensory needs and resilience.
- Collaborate with health, education, social care and community services.
