Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in a related field; EE is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 7 years leading in a high-tech company; 4+ years in automotive, medical or aerospace electronics.
• Excellent communication, organization and ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, PCBs and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and interpret failure analysis equipment and techniques (SEM, EDX, Photoemission, FIB, etc.).
• Understand microcircuit device layouts and circuit technology for FA submissions.
• Monitor FRACA/IFact system to schedule workload and define analysis steps.
• Test and diagnose products; perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Interface with factory to provide guidance on failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Create reports, analyze trends, and contribute to FRACA/IFact data entries.
