Qualifications

• Graduate from PME commensurate with rank in either a resident or nonresident status.
• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree strongly desired.
• Twenty (20) years of relevant experience including, but not limited to, in the United States Marine Corps while serving as a Field Grade Officer or Senior SNCO.
• Minimum Tier 1 background investigation and Government-access eligibility are required; an active Secret clearance is required before supporting classified events or tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous FD SME services for each DEP's curricula to support the prospective faculty for CDET OPME and EPME programs.
• Maintain subject matter proficiency in developing teaching faculty for onsite or online nonresident delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of education theory and teaching techniques supported by available technology.
• Revise, update, and maintain FacO 101 and FacO 201 for officer and enlisted PME courses.
• Maintain FacO 101 and 201 course sites and schedules based on government timing and needs.
• Develop program/learning outcomes and lesson objectives using Bloom's revised taxonomy and andragogy.
• Establish and maintain FD courseware, curriculum and assessment version control; create and safeguard assessments.
