Angove Partners Limited, a leading global reinsurer, is expanding its facultative cyber capability and seeks an experienced senior underwriter to own complex cyber placements from submission to bind.

You will develop broker and cedent relationships, assess risk, set terms and pricing, and negotiate within underwriting guidelines, driving production, retention and profitability while maintaining underwriting discipline.

Formación

• Four+ years in commercial, specialty or reinsurance underwriting with strong cyber focus.
• Track record of underwriting facultative reinsurance, including pricing and contract negotiation.
• Deep knowledge of cyber exposures: ransomware, network security, privacy liability, BI, tech E&O.

Responsabilidades

• Lead facultative cyber submissions from simple domestic risks to complex multinational programs.
• Assess opportunities by reviewing cedent program, security posture, claims history, and exposure aggregation.
• Set terms, pricing, structure and line size; negotiate within guidelines to meet profitability targets.
• Build and maintain broker, cedent and strategic partner relationships to win business.
• Collaborate with actuarial, claims, risk engineering and global teams on hard exposures.
• Monitor threat landscape and market cycles to shape underwriting and portfolio strategy.
• Meet production, retention and profit targets while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Represent the business at broker/client meetings and industry events.
